How to Press DTF Transfers
DTF Transfer Instructions: Cold Peel
IMPORTANT: We offer only Cold Peel transfers. Please read instructions before pressing to ensure the correct application process.
Cold Peel Instructions:
- Pre-Press: Heat the garment for 5 seconds to eliminate wrinkles and moisture.
- First Press: Place the transfer, cover with a Teflon sheet or baking paper. Apply medium pressure at 150-165°C for 12-15 seconds. (Adjust according to your heat press.)
- Peel Cold: Allow the transfer to cool (approx. 30 seconds) before peeling.

Second Press: After peeling, cover the design with a Teflon sheet. Press again at 150-165°C for 5-10 seconds for extra adhesion.
- Note: Use heat press pillows if needed and avoid pressing over seams, buttons, or zippers.
- For Polyester/Blends: Lower the temperature to 155-160°C, reduce time to 8-10 seconds. Allow cooling between presses.
DTF Transfer Storage Instructions:
- Store DTF transfers in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight ..
- Keep them flat and avoid exposure to high humidity.
- Store them in an airtight area to avoid dust accumulation.
- For best results, use within 2 months of purchase to ensure optimal performance.
Care Instructions for DTF Printed Garments:
- Washing: Turn garments inside out. Wash in cold water, on a gentle cycle, using mild detergent.
- Drying: Tumble dry on low or air dry. Avoid high heat to prolong the life of the print.
- Ironing: Do not iron directly on the design. If necessary, iron the garment inside out or place a cloth over the print.
- Avoid Bleach: Do not use bleach or fabric softeners, as they can damage the print.
